Tis the Season

Christmas season has started and I am busier than ever! We have a new company for the santa booth this year and I am manager and I work every single day. Like, every every day. I had thanksgiving off, and thats it. Its way different this year.

So, there is word this year that my dads side of the family isn't going to have a Christmas get together like we have had every year since I was a baby. It kinda makes me mad. I know my G-Pa isn't going to be around for to many more Christmases and I think we should continue on with tradition. Actually, I heard that he doesn't even know that we aren't getting together. I wonder what he'll think about it.

I just thought I'd share my thoughts.... I know this isn't a typical blog... but I don't have any new pictures to blog or anything... so its just words today.

History was made

Its pretty amazing knowing that your a part of history.
I voted yesterday for the first time and I am very happy with the outcome of the election.
I was pulled both ways and in the end I did end up voting for Obama. I truly believe that he will do a good job. It will take many years to fix the mistakes that Bush made, but I believe he will do it. I just wish everyone else would give him a chance. I've heard nothing but negativity from everyone who voted McCain. Oh well though. They'll see. and if I eat my words, then so be it. I'm just a bit of an optimist.

Lack of Blogging...

I realize that i havent blogged in like a million years, and so I went to go update the other day... well my laptop crashed! I cant turn it on, and thats what has all of my pics on it. Once I get it fixed... I promise to blog any pics i may have left. I do look forward to reading all of your updates though, if there are any. :)
