Tis the Season

Christmas season has started and I am busier than ever! We have a new company for the santa booth this year and I am manager and I work every single day. Like, every every day. I had thanksgiving off, and thats it. Its way different this year.

So, there is word this year that my dads side of the family isn't going to have a Christmas get together like we have had every year since I was a baby. It kinda makes me mad. I know my G-Pa isn't going to be around for to many more Christmases and I think we should continue on with tradition. Actually, I heard that he doesn't even know that we aren't getting together. I wonder what he'll think about it.

I just thought I'd share my thoughts.... I know this isn't a typical blog... but I don't have any new pictures to blog or anything... so its just words today.

Happy Holidays Everyone....

I totally agree with you sister. I know times are hard for some more than others but that is no excuse not to gather with friends and family. Nobody says we have to do a gift exchange. Cant we just gather for a potluck and to catch up... is that seriously to much to ask for????? What happens when there is no more tradition?

Well, I thought we were just pushing off the potluck/get together for a week until grandpas b-day since everybody is swamped over xmas? I didnt think it was too bad of an idea. After all when I was at Grandpas 2 days ago he didnt even know Christmas was near! Ha!

Yeah but its still not the same. I understand people are busy, believe me... I probably understand that better than anyone. It just really bothers me. If grandma knew we werent getting together on christmas, she would flip!
